When the Roadster prototype was revealed in 2017, I assumed it was close to the final design. But years later, we're still waiting. Other automakers are catching up with their own electric sports cars, although none are rushing. If Tesla had built the original prototype with available tech, it would’ve been a success by now. Instead, they’re still finalizing the current model.

It’s super frustrating to see this long delay, esp when you remember that people pretty much gave Tesla an interest-free loan seven years ago with zero idea of when they’d actually get their cars. At this point, the whole reservation thing feels pretty pointless. Reserving a spot doesn’t even seem to get you priority or early access - just look at how the Cybertruck rollout’s going.

Honestly, it’s starting to feel less like they’re trying to deliver on promises and more like they’re just using the reservation money to raise funds.

The long delays and lack of transparency can make reservations feel pointless. I just hope once the cars are delivered, it’ll be worth it..
